According to The Asahi Shimbun, eight major companies jointly started a project to support foreign workers and dig out the hidden problems they may face in Japan.
The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), local governments and labor unions were also involved in establishing JP-MIRAI (Japan Platform for Migrant Workers toward a Responsible and Inclusive Society). JP-MIRAI is an outside, independent and neutral organization that offers consultations to foreign workers on such issues as unpaid wages, daily troubles, visa status and health. https://www.asahi.com/ajw/articles/14628724
