1.A leading Japanese housing company that is doing design, manufacture, sales and construction of housing (continuous work from research service):
1) Initial consultation:
- Understood the purpose of meetings - The main objective was discussing business opportunities with Australian companies to expand their business overseas. 2) Action taken: - Created a list of Australian companies and provided details about the Australian companies for the meetings - Made contact with the Australian companies. A letter (in English) was prepared to outline the purpose of the meeting, including a draft agenda and itinerary. The letter was sent to all the companies' CEO or director which were identified/selected to inform them about the proposed plans from the Japanese housing company. - Arranged meetings with Australian companies and followed up with any enquiries that were received from the Australian companies by phone - Meetings were arranged based on the priority and office location due to tight time schedule 3) Re-confirmed all meetings with around 10 companies (CEO or directors) in 2 major cities in Australia - Prepared an itinerary with details of the contact person and company |
2.A leading Japanese engineering company which is expanding their business in overseas (continuous work from reseach service):

Within a limited time, visited the production site and inspected equipment - Discussed, modified and confirmed the spreadsheet of the desktop study. A lot of technical knowledge and terminology was required to assist the meeting and site visit - After the meeting, had a follow up meeting with the Australian gas company - A separate discussion was specially held with Japanese engineering company as required. 3) Completed the site visit and submitted a report - When the site visit was completed, all necessary information was obtained and the evaluation of the project completed - Prepared the report in Japanese about the issues, key points and conclusions which were discussed during the site visit |
