According to The Australian Financial Review, a global start-up generator and venture capital firm is targeting Australian professionals who wish to quit their day job and have a go at launching their own start-up.
Antler launched in London and Amsterdam last week, having earlier set up shop in Singapore. It is backed by a $40 million early-stage venture capital limited partnerships fund and offers fledgling entrepreneurs a $4000 stipend for their first two months in its program to set about starting a new company. Candidates on the program work towards getting a pre-seed investment and a further $100,000 seed investment, with its local managing partner Bede Moore saying participants could quit their day job to begin the program without a start-up business idea. https://www.afr.com/technology/new-generator-antler-launches-offering-you-4000-to-build-a-new-startup-20190314-h1cdxl If you want to read this article in Japanese, please see the following link: https://www.j-abc.com/jp-blog/vc Comments are closed.
